The solar trees are made up of seven different orientations and types. These architectural structures employ the same PV technologies through unique design elements. In total the solar trees make up about 65 kW.

Research Value

Solar trees are not commonly used in the solar industry, but provide a method to install systems oriented in multiple directions. The performance of these technologies will be evaluated alongside the traditional orientation.
