View live data

Live data, if supported on this site, is updated every 15-30 seconds. For sites that do not support live data, a set of static time-delayed values will be shown.

View historical data

Charts throughout the site display historic data over time. Some charts are interactive and allow customization of date ranges and zooming in and panning of the plot area.

Site Overview

Battery Performance
Performance Snapshot

This panel may show a sampled measurement (e.g., power) and/or a cumulative measurement (e.g., energy generated).

When the sampled measurement is available, a gauge and trend chart will appear.

When the cumulative measurement is available, its value will be shown over the date range indicated.

Solar Generation Equivalents
Equivalents Defined
Equivalents represent solar energy generation as a relatable or abstract metric. Energy is converted to different metrics using conversion factors and assumptions, described below.
Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Emissions

Estimated using annualized CO2 emitted by U.S. non-baseload electric power plants, avoided at a rate of 7.75x10-4 tons per kWh. Source: EPA, eGRID electricity reductions emission factor

Passenger Vehicles per Year

Number of vehicles is based on estimated CO2 emissions from U.S. light-duty vehicles (cars, pickups, SUVs) driven 11,300 miles per year and averaging 21.5 miles per gallon. The resulting conversion is approximately 149 vehicles per year for 1 GWh (1,000,000 kWh). Source: EPA, FHWA passenger vehicles per year

Stadiums Hosting 1 Pro Football Game

The number of pro-football games powered assumes a professional football stadium uses 50 MWh to host a game (10-MW electricity demand over a 5-hour period).

Acres of Forest per Year

Acres of forest are calculated using net CO2 absorption estimates from trees in "average" U.S. forests (tree growth minus harvesting and decomposition). Source: EPA, IPCC

Homes' Annual Electricity Use

Number of homes is based on annual electricity consumption of an average home in the U.S., including electric transmission and distribution grid losses. Source: EPA, EIA
