This panel may show a sampled measurement (e.g., power) and/or a cumulative measurement (e.g., energy generated).

When the sampled measurement is available, a gauge and trend chart will appear.

When the cumulative measurement is available, its value will be shown over the date range indicated.

Overview

Loads represent all other electric loads found in the recreation area: campsites, RVs, restrooms, area lighting, water heating, etc. However, these loads exclude electric vehicle charging stations, which are represented separately on this dashboard.

In the campground and waterfront areas, loads include electric hookups for RVs, bath house, and area lighting.

At the overlook, TVA's building houses restroom facilities. Hot water is provided by a heat pump water heater. Space conditioning is provided by both a high-efficiency heat pump and electric strip heat. Other loads include outdoor lighting around the area.

At the dam's tailwater area, loads include the restroom and area lighting. Also, fly ash is incorporated into the brickwork and shingles.
